Senior PHP Developer
Cyprus / Remote
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team remotely or from our office in Cyprus.
Tech stack: PHP 8.2+, Symfony 6.4+, PHPUnit, PostgreSQL, Swagger/OpenAPI, Docker, Composer, GitLab CI
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the backend of the product
- Develop internal libraries
- Build integrations with various external systems
- Optimize services for high-load environments
Requirements
Key competencies:
- 3+ years of commercial experience with PHP
- Strong knowledge of OOP and ability to apply design patterns in practice
- Experience designing high-load systems
- Experience working with PHP-based MVC frameworks
Experience optimizing code and working with various data storage systems (relational databases, key-value stores)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Docker and Event Sourcing
- Experience with column-oriented databases
- Experience maintaining Swagger documentation
- Experience collecting metrics with Prometheus
- Experience working with Grafana / Kibana
