System Analyst (Banking Solutions / CBS)

We are looking for System Analysts to join our team, working on a platform for EMI/Bank solutions, including our own Core Banking System (CBS).

The role is available remotely or office-based in Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for product development: UI requirements, API enhancements between frontend and backend, backend improvements for banking software, CBS integrations, and integrations with external providers
• Prepare technical documentation and task descriptions for the development team
• Participate in analytical problem-solving, design of architectural solutions, CBS configuration, and support investigation of client cases from production
• Collaborate with development, QA, product, and design teams

Key competencies:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst
• Experience working on projects related to the implementation or development of core banking systems (CBS) and/or back-office applications in the banking/financial sector (payments, accounts, etc.)
• Experience with both client-facing and back-office banking systems; understanding of payment creation processes
• Knowledge of business process modeling methodologies and the ability to communicate ideas using diagrams
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN
• Ability to independently gather information for tasks/research and willingness to work with regulatory/product-related requirements
• Understanding of client-server architecture principles
• English level: Intermediate or higher

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge and ability to write SQL queries
• Experience with microservices architecture
